Am Nachmittag des 8. März wurden beim KAIT online Event International Round Table for Female Founders noch drei Gründerinnen vor den Vorhang geholt, um Chancen aber auch Hindernisse vor allem für Frauen bei der Gründung in verschiedenen europäischen Ländern zu diskutieren.

Female Future: Roundtable with International Female Founders

„Am 8. März, dem internationalen Weltfrauentag, veranstaltete die FH JOANNEUM am Standort Kapfenberg gemeinsam mit ihren Partnern bereits zum zweiten Mal die Bildungs- und Karrieremesse Female Future. Vor Ort vertreten waren einerseits die Partner der FHJ, nämlich die SFG-Steirische Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft, die WKO Bruck-Mürzzuschlag, die Stadtgemeinde Kapfenberg, das AMS Steiermark und zam Steiermark. Vertreten waren aber auch rund 20 regionale Betriebe. Ziel dieser Veranstaltung war es, Frauen aus der Hochsteiermark für technische Berufe zu begeistern und die Möglichkeit der Selbstständigkeit aufzuzeigen. So bot sich die Chance, sich einerseits allgemeine und fachliche Inputs und Unterstützungsmöglichkeiten von Einrichtungen zu holen, aber auch gleich direkt mit regionalen Betreiben ins Gespräch zu kommen. Die über 200 Besucher:innen vor Ort haben sowohl die Kinderbetreuung, die Fachvorträge als auch die Bewerbungstrainings und Checks genutzt, sich aber auch für Studien der FH JOANNEUM und das Gründer:innen Zentrum KAIT-Kapfenberg Accelerator&Incubator für IT interessiert.

Über 50 Personen aus ganz Europa verfolgten die angeregte Diskussion, die von Prof. Huriye Toker von der türkischen Universität Yasar moderiert wurde. Was das Geschäftsklima in ihren Ländern anbelangt, so hielten es alle Gründerinnen für recht günstig und waren froh, dass sie ihr Unternehmen früh gegründet hatten. Wenn man ein starkes „Warum“ hat und mit Leidenschaft bei der Sache ist, könnte die Tätigkeit als Unternehmerin ideal sein, um den Beruf mit Familie/Kinderbetreuung und anderen privaten Aktivitäten zu verbinden. Darüber hinaus denken Frauen vielleicht häufiger über die sozialen und ökologischen Auswirkungen ihres Unternehmens nach. In schwierigen Zeiten muss man als Unternehmerin optimistisch sein und viel lernen, aber die Belohnung ist, dass man seinen Traum und seine Leidenschaft leben kann.
